The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1930s.
The watch has a good quality Swiss 17-jewel stem-winding movement which is working nicely. The movement has been identified as a Revue... Vertex and Revue worked closely together from the early 1930s.

The watch measures 50mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is gold plated with a small central lens to the front surrounded by very dark blue enamel filled Roman numerals. There is the odd mark and rubbing around the edges.

The winding crown pushes in to open the front cover. Inside there is an acrylic lens which is in good condition.
The dial is in good condition and it has blued steel hands including the special half hunter hour hand so that the time can be read even when the front cover is closed.
The watch will come in a new presentation box.
