Description

1903 Waltham Seaside half hunter pocket watch.

The watch has a Seaside grade hand-winding movement which is working nicely. The movement is fully signed and the serial number dates it back to 1903. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover which has some scratches.

The watch measures 40mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop so smaller than a standard 50mm pocket watch. The case is gold plated and has engine turned detail to both the front and back. The case is in good condition with only the odd light mark, nothing serious at all. The front cover has lovely blue enamelled Roman numerals around a central lens.

The winding crown pushes in to open the front cover.

Inside there is a glass lens which is in good condition.

The signed dial has a few fairly faint cracks. Blued steel hands.

The watch comes in a new presentation box.
