Description

Gents 1960s Zodiac automatic wrist watch.

The watch has a 21-jewel automatic movement, Zodiac 70-72, which is working nicely. The movement is fully signed on the rotor.

The watch measures 35mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the lugs. The case is gold plated and it is in good condition, just a little rubbing to the tips of the lugs if you look through a magnifying loupe.

The signed case back has some surface marking.

The lens is in good condition.

The signed dial is in its original finish with original hands, seconds sweep and date display (an early form of quickset where the hands are moved repeatedly backwards and forwards between 12 midnight and 8.30pm until the desired date is reached).

A new leather strap has been fitted.

The watch comes in a new presentation box.
