This particularly good quality Inlaid Mahogany Demi Lune Side Cabinet has many redeeming features to enjoy. The bold shape is very pleasing on the eye and combines very well with the profusion of inlay line detail to enhance the elegant design of the piece.
The two doors have a lovely oval panel of curl Mahogany Veneer to their centre, with radiating outer areas with line decoration. The solid Mahogany top is beautifully figured, and benefits from a decorative crossbanding.
The drawer is of a good length and is solid oak lined as are the two cabinet interiors, which is a sign of quality cabinet making. The rich Mahogany colour helps to set off the substantial brass handles.
This is a very versatile piece of furniture, that you could even sit at for writing as there is 24in/61cm of leg clearance height underneath the apron.
