Description

Antique Omega gun metal pocket watch, c1910.

The watch has a stem-winding movement which is working nicely. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover, this inner cover has a few short scratches where it has been opened in the past.

The watch measures 47mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is gun metal which is an alloy of copper, tin and zinc which was originally used in gun manufacture but was later replaced by steel. The inside of the case back has the early Omega logo. The gold coloured embellishments really lift the look of the case, including the Omega shaped ring.

The acrylic lens is in good condition.

The dial is in good condition and has blued steel hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and an outer minute track.

The watch comes in a new presentation box.
