Description

Antique 1903 Waltham full hunter pocket watch.

The watch has a Traveler grade movement which is working nicely. The movement is fully signed and the serial number 12,174,111 dates it back to 1903. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover.

The watch measures 50mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is gold plated. The front cover has an outwards curve or indentation which could have occurred when the later inscription inside the cover was engraved, 'From Mr Prince to his old pal Victor, 17.10.25'.

The winding crown is pressed to release the catch for the front cover, it the needs opening with your nail. There is a slight gap around the edge of the front cover.

Inside there is an acrylic lens which is in good condition.

The dial has a faint hairline running through number 12.

The watch comes in a new presentation box.
