Antique 1917 Silver Swiss Pocket Watch.

Description

Antique 1917 silver Swiss pocket watch.

The watch has a nice quality Swiss stem-winding movement which is working well. The movement is stamped 15 jewels, Swiss made. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover.

The watch measures 45.4mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is silver and there are hallmarks inside both of the case backs for Glasgow (import mark) 1917 with the importers mark for Arthur George Rendell. The case has light surface marking and a small "ding" to the outer edge at 2 o'clock but overall it is in nice condition.

The watch glass is in good condition.

The white enamel dial is in nice condition.

The watch has its original blued steel hands.

The watch will be sent in a new presentation box.

We are an on-line only business and do not have facilities for callers. Our offices are open from Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.

With regards to appraisals / valuations, we receive a huge number of information requests each day and unfortunately do not have the manpower to deal with them all individually. Our advice would be to contact a local auctioneer for a full appraisal.
