Description

Gents 1920s Omega wrist watch.

The watch has a 15-jewel (adjusted two positions) 26.5 SOB hand-winding movement which is working nicely. The movement is fully signed and the serial number 6,789,430 dates it back to around 1927.

The watch measures 37mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the lugs. The case is stainless steel and it is in good condition. There are no markings inside the stainless steel case back which suggests the movement was cased in Europe. The case was originally plated but much of this has worn off over the years as shown in the photos.

The lens is in good condition.

The signed dial has darkened with age but still easy to read the time. Blued steel hands.

A new leather strap has been fitted.

The watch comes in a new presentation box.
