Gents 1950s boxed Record de Luxe wrist watch, super condition.

The watch has a good quality hand-winding movement, calibre 022-18, which is working nicely. This model came in 15 and 17 jewel versions and this is the 17 jewel with Incabloc shockproofing. The movement is protected by an inner cover.

The watch is a good wearable size at 35mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the lugs. The case is gold plated with the plate being a generous 40 microns thick which is a very good sign of quality. The case is in superb condition and in fact we believe that it has never been worn, it even has the protective plastic from the back of the watch. Signed winding crown.

The lens and signed dial are also in fabulous condition.

Original unworn strap in great condition.

The watch comes in its original Record box with tag.

This really is a super lot, and very unusual to find it in this condition.
