The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1950s.
The watch has a signed 19-jewel bumper automatic movement which is working nicely.
Later automatic watches have the fully rotational rotor.

The watch measures 33mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the lugs. The case is stainless steel, there is the odd mark but nothing serious at all, overall very acceptable for a 1950s piece. The inside of the case back has the maker's mark for François Borgel together with the Movado mark.

The lens is in good condition.
The signed dial is in good condition, just a little darkening. Dauphine shaped hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and outer minute markers.
A new leather strap has been fitted.
The watch will be sent in a new presentation box.
