Description

Gents 1950s Roamer wrist watch.

The watch has a Swiss 15-jewel hand-winding movement which is working nicely. The movement is signed with the Roamer name.

The watch measures 30mm wide excluding the winding crown and 30mm high excluding the lugs. The case is rolled gold and it is now a very pale gold colour. There are some light surface marks but overall the condition is good for a 1950s piece. The inside of the hinged case back is signed LTG for L Tieche Gammeter who first registered the Roamer nam in 1908.

The lens is in good condition.

The signed dial is in good condition with blued steel hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and an outer minute track.

A new leather strap has been fitted.

The watch comes in a vintage Roamer presentation box which is tatty but still good to have.
