Description

Gents 1930s 9ct gold Waltham wrist watch.

The watch has a stem-winding movement which is working nicely. The patterned movement is fully signed and the serial number 28,296,889 dates it back to the early 1930s.

The watch measures 30mm wide excluding the winding crown and 30mm high excluding the lugs. The case is 9 carat gold and there are hallmarks inside the case back for Birmingham 1935 with a case maker's mark for Aaron Dennison... the Dennison Watch Case Company made the majority of cases for Waltham UK. The case back has some slight unevenness but other than that the case is in good condition.

The lens has very light marks but is very acceptable.

The signed dial has a really faint hairline crack between the centre and number 9 but it is difficult to see with the naked eye.

A new leather strap has been fitted.

The watch comes in a new presentation box.
