Antique silver William Ehrhardt pocket watch and albert.

The watch has a stem-winding ¾ plate movement which is working nicely. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover.

The watch measures 46mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is silver and there are hallmarks inside the two case backs for Birmingham 1890 with a maker's mark for William Ehrhardt. The case is in good condition, as is the glass lens.

The dial is in good condition too. Pin-set hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and outer minute markers.

The watch comes with a silver double albert with each chain measuring 24cm long including the T-bar and the clasp. Some of the links have the lion silver mark although quite rubbed. The clasps are both hallmarked, probably for Herbert Bushell, the Birmingham silversmith. The T-bar is not hallmarked. The albert comes with a shorter central chain which holds a silver fob, Chester 1905. The total weight of the albert and fob is 48.4g.

The watch and chain will come in a new presentation box.
