Gents antique silver half hunter trench watch.

The watch has a hand-winding movement which is working nicely. The movement was made by Adolf Schild and bought in by the Nimra Watch Company, a brand name registered in 1912 by Armin Grossert of Cremine in Switzerland.

The watch measures 35mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the fixed wire lugs. The case is nickel and it is in good condition with just minor surface marks, very acceptable for an antique wrist watch. The winding crown is a later replacement.

The front cover has a small lens surrounded by enamel filled Roman numerals. There is a small button to the edge of the case, next to 7 o'clock, which is pressed to open this front cover.

Inside there is a glass lens which is in good condition.

The enamel dial has three hairline cracks and some damage to the outer edge by number 3. Blued steel hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and an outer minute track.

The watch has a later black leather strap.

The watch comes in a new presentation box.
