Description

Gents large 1950s Lorenz wrist watch.

The company Lorenz was founded in 1934 by the master clock maker Tullio Bolletta and in 1938 he opened his first shop in Milan.

The watch has a 17-jewel Swiss hand-winding movement which is working nicely.

The watch is a very good size at 38mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the lugs. The case is plated and there is some marking and wear commensurate with its age. The stainless steel case back has the Lorenz watch man logo. There is some slight unevenness to the case back.

The lens is in lovely condition.

The signed dial is in its original finish and it has a handsome textured surface. There is perhaps a shade or two of age related darkening but other than it is in good condition.

A new leather strap has been fitted.

The watch comes in a new presentation box.
