Georgian Revival Mahogany Serpentine Chest of Drawers

1900 - 1920
Description

-Welcome to Mersham Manor Antiques-

A good quality Georgian revival serpentine shaped chest-of-drawers.

Edwardian- c1910.

The moulded edge serpentine top is over an arrangement of four long graduating cock-beaded drawers.

The drawers are oak lined and of dove-tail construction. All drawers open smoothly and easily.

Retaining the original ornate brass swan-neck handles. All escutcheons and original locks are present.

Lovely rich figuring and colour to the mahogany.

Shaped apron, standing on splayed front feet.

In excellent antique condition. Expected minor signs of age and use.

Very solid, strong and sturdy.

The dimensions are.

Width-91.5cm.

Depth-56cm.
