Description

A Good Rare William & Mary Period burr oak, oak and walnut chest on stand. The upper chest section with a solid oak top above two short and three long pine lined drawers, the fronts veneered in beautifully figured burr oak, banded in walnut and retaining the original handles and escutcheons.The lower stand section with three rectangular drawers also with burr oak fronts, banded in walnut and a lovely burr oak veneered shaped apron. Supported on slender turned supports with a wavy stretcher base. English circs 1680-1700

Dimensions: 63" high x 41" wide x 22" deep

Condition: This chest of stand is in excellent condition, a lovely colour and patination throughout. The wavy stand and bun fee are not original
