Antique fine quality Georgian mahogany tallboy chest on chest of drawers. Made in the early 19th Century C1800.

Attractive ormolu-mounted pilasters. Much better than most.

Solid, strong and very heavy...splits into two halves for transport.

No loose joints and the drawers slide freely.

Rare, with great colour and patina....has the wow factor.

Overall maximum dimensions: 110cmW x 53cmD x 181cmH (81cm bottom, 100cm top).

In very good antique condition with only minor historic knocks, marks, cracks, scratches, wear, imperfections and repairs, as is to be expected with genuine antique furniture. There are no keys and the locks are consequently untested. Later handles. There are some historic extinct woodworm holes (expected for early period furniture), that we have treated for good measure. The feet may have been historically reduced in height and a later plywood back has been fitted on the top section.
