The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1950s.
The watch has a hand-winding movement which is working nicely.
The case has a stainless steel bezel and case back, and the centre section and lugs are chrome plated. There is a fairly light rubbing to the plate and some scratching to the edge of the case back but overall very acceptable for a 50s piece.

The lens is in good condition.
The signed dial is in its original finish with original hands, although darkened with age, and outer minute markers. There is some pale freckling across the dial. The dial is signed with the name Galibert, this is probably the original retailer of the watch.
A new leather strap has been fitted.
The watch will be sent in a new presentation box.
