Description

1928 Waltham Traveler pocket watch.

The watch has a beautifully detailed stem-winding movement, Traveler grade, which is working nicely. The movement is fully signed and the serial number 26617972 dates it back to 1928. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover which has a slight “ding”.

The watch measures 50mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is gold plated and was made by the Dennison Watch Case Company, an English company who supplied the majority of watches for Waltham UK. The case is gold plated. The front is in good condition. The case back has a couple of indentations.

The acrylic lens is in good condition.

The signed dial is in lovely condition with blued steel hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and an outer minute track.

The watch comes in a new presentation box.
