Description

A very striking bank of 2o spice drawers with decorative brass banding on all edges and drawer surrounds. Probably originating from Northern Indian border provinces and dating from the early 20th Century (circa 1900). Made of teak of a rich colour with hand made brass drawer pulls and hand made screws (each slot is hand cut). The decorative brass banding has some age discolouration and there is some wear to the feet but generally it is in excellent condition.

Perfect for spices on a table top in the kitchen , for collectors or for jewellery.

Externally the drawers measure 7 cm by 7 cm

Internally they measure 13 cm long 3.75 cm wide and 5 cm high.

Overall the piece measures 40.5 cm high 29.5 cm wide and 17 cm deep
