Gents Omega wrist watch, 1968.

The watch has a hand-winding movement, calibre 601, which is working nicely. The movement is fully signed and the serial number 27,811,906 dates it back to 1968.

The watch measures 34mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the lugs. The case is stainless steel and it is in good condition, just some surface scratching to the screw-on case back.

The case back has the Omega triangular logo to the inside along with the case number 135.041 which is correct for the calibre 601 movement. The outside of the case back states that the watch is waterproof but, as with any vintage watch, it should be kept away from water and moisture. There is also a company or association logo.

The winding crown is signed with the Omega logo.

The lens is in good condition.

The signed dial is in good original condition with original hands, seconds sweep and outer minute markers.

A new 'after market' leather strap has been fitted.

The watch comes in a new presentation box.
