The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1940s.
The watch has a Alpina 580 hand-winding movement which is working nicely.
The case is 9 carat gold and there are hallmarks inside the case back for Chester 1945. Overall the case is in good condition. There are some initials engraved into the back of the watch.

The lens is in good condition.
The dial is in its original finish. There is some light freckling but not too noticeable to the naked eye.
A new leather strap has been fitted.
The watch comes in a new presentation box.
