Description

Circa 1930, George II style walnut chest of drawers. The rectangular shaped chest has a quarter matching veneer, cross banded top, moulded edge, and is above a configuration of 4 shaped serpentine drawers with raised sections on either end. The drawers have cast brass flower head escutcheons, and drop handles with similar flower back plates. The corner of the chest has canted corners and beneath these is a moulded edge which follows the form of the drawer fronts and continues around the side. Standing on substantial bun feet.
