A Good Nineteenth Century Mahogany ‘Egyptian’ Revival Chiffonier

Description

A good nineteenth Century mahogany Chiffonier in the style of ‘Egyptian’ revival. With gilded sphinx pillasters to either side at the front. The finely figured top retains its gorgeous original patina. The shelf above is raised on turned mahogany columns with a mahogany wavy edged gallery.

There is a full width oak lined drawer immediately underneath the top with its original ‘star’ knobs and the beautifully figured flame mahogany doors open to reveal a cupboard with one shelf and it is supported on a plinth base.
