This fine antique chest is of superb smaller proportions and has a very unusual drawer configuration for its size. They have a beautifully figured top with moulded edge above six graduating cock beaded drawers with pierced brass handles. They stand on shaped bracket feet and the Mahogany has aged to a warm shade with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
