A Vintage 1920s Swiss Half Hunter Pocket Watch.

Status: This item has been sold
Sold by: The Vintage Wrist Watch Company

A vintage 1920s Swiss half hunter pocket watch.
The watch has a 15 jewel Swiss stem-winding movement which is working well. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover.
The watch measures 50.6mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is gold filled and is the Fortune model made by the American Watch Case Company. The case has light surface marking from use and several small "dings" to the front and back covers but overall it is in nice condition for a 1920s piece.
The front cover has a small lens surrounded by enamel filled Roman numerals. The front cover is opened by pressing the winding crown in.
The inner and outer lenses are acrylic and are in nice condition.
The dial has a faint hairline crack to the outer edge at 5 o'clock but otherwise it is in nice condition.
The watch has blued steel hands (including the special half hunter hour hand), a subsidiary seconds dial and an outer minute track.
The watch will be sent in a new presentation box.
All of our watches are checked over before listing, and are also checked for accuracy which is usually within around +/- two to three minutes over 24 hours (unless otherwise stated), which is considered respectable for a vintage watch.
All of our prices include UK and worldwide postage. We are a VAT registered company and all purchases are covered by Consumer Regulations.
