Gents Smiths Astral wrist watch, c1960.

The watch has a 15-jewel hand-winding movement, made in England, which is working nicely.

The watch measures 33mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the lugs. The case is gold plated and overall is in good condition, just a small patch of wear near to the winding crown but you have to look closely to see it. The stainless steel case back states that the watch is waterproof but, as with any vintage watch, it should be kept away from water.

The lens is in good condition.

The signed dial is in its original finish with original hands and sunken subsidiary seconds dial.

A new leather strap has been fitted.

The watch comes in a new presentation box.
