Description

Gents WW1 silver trench watch, 1916.

The watch has a nicely jewelled Swiss hand-winding movement which is working nicely.

The watch measures 33.9mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the fixed wire lugs. The case is silver and there are import marks inside the case back for London 1916 with an importer's mark for William Henry Sparrow. The case has light surface marking from use and a small bruise to the back but overall it is in nice condition for a 1916 piece.

The glass lens has light surface marking from use but overall it is in nice condition.

The dial has an old repair at 4 o'clock but otherwise it is in nice condition.

The watch has its original blued steel hands.

A new leather strap has been fitted.

The watch will be sent in a new presentation box.
