Gents silver Glashutte wrist watch, c1910s.

The watch has an unsigned movement, believed to be by Glashutte, which is working nicely.

The watch measures 33mm diameter excluding the winding crown and fixed wire lugs. The case is silver and there are hallmarks inside the case back for London 1941. In our opinion, this watch is earlier in date than that (the pin set feature tells us that it dates back to around the 1900s/1910s) which would suggest that this watch was assayed upon being imported into the UK in 1941. The case is in lovely condition, as is the lens.

The white enamel dial has three hairline cracks radiating out from the centre. Pin set blued steel hands and an outer minute track.

A new leather strap has been fitted.

The watch comes in a new presentation box.
