Description

Antique “Express” English Lever pocket watch for J G Graves of Sheffield.

The watch has a key-winding movement which is working well. The movement is protected by a fitted inner cover which has a few short scratches. A winding key is included.

The watch measures 52.9mm diameter excluding the stem and the loop. The case is silver and there are hallmarks inside both of the case backs for Birmingham 1901 with a maker’s mark for the case maker Charles Huton Errington. The case has the odd minor mark and some mild bruising to the back but overall it is in nice condition for an 1900s piece.

The acrylic lens is in nice condition.

The signed white enamel dial has several faint hairline cracks but otherwise it is in nice condition.

Gold hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and an outer minute track.

The watch comes in a new presentation box.
