The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1940s.
The watch has a Swiss nine jewelled hand-winding movement which is working nicely.
The case is 9 carat rose gold and it is in good condition for a piece of its age, a “ding” and a little unevenness to the back but nothing too serious at all.

The hinged case back is hallmarked on the inside for London 1944 with a maker's mark for Thomas Russell & Son.
The lens is in good condition.
The signed dial is in its original finish with blued steel hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and outer minute markers.
A new leather strap has been fitted.
The watch comes in a Russells presentation box.
