Spectacular High Quality Figured Walnut Antique Credenza

Constructed by a true Victorian craftsman to the highest quality, this stunning credenza dates from around 1870 and has a beautifully figured break fronted top above a glazed door with key with working lock and the interior has two adjustable shelves. The two outer cupboards are bow fronted with the most spectacular fretwork carvings. It stands on a breakfront plinth and has beautiful kingwood cross-banding with boxwood and ebony string inlay around the edges and fine carved corbels. The walnut has aged to a rich golden shade with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
