The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1920s.
The watch has a stem-winding movement, grade 610, which is working nicely.

The watch measures 50mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is the gold filled Referee model by Wadsworth, originally guaranteed to wear for 20 years. This is a good quality case with screw-on bezel and case back. The back of the watch originally had engraved detail but there is some rubbing now, just from years of being worn.

The glass lens is in good condition.
The signed dial is in its original finish with blued steel Breguet style hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and outer minute markers.
The watch comes in a new presentation box.
