Description

1920s Tissot silver pocket watch.

The watch has a good quality stem-winding movement, 15 jewels, two adjustments, which is working nicely. The movement is signed with the Tissot name and the serial number 371353 dates it back to 1927/28. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover which has a small patch of marks where it has been opened in the past.

The watch measures 52mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is 800 Continental silver and it is in lovely condition for a piece from the 1920s. The hinged case back has vertical stripes together with a cartouche with the initials WM.

The watch glass is in lovely condition.

The dial is in lovely original condition with Breguet style hands and numbers, a subsidiary seconds dial and outer minute markers.

The watch will come in a new presentation box.
