The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1870s.
The watch has a fusee (chain driven) movement which is working well. The movement is signed Rimmington & Son, Lubenham. This is believed to be Eli Rimmington and his son Adne, both listed as watch and clock makers. The movement is protected by an inner fitted cover.
The watch measures 51mm diameter excluding the stem and the loop.
Trafalgar Street and later of Hertford Terrace, Coventry. The case has light surface marking but overall the condition is very acceptable for such an early piece.

The glass lens has a few minor marks from use but overall it is in nice condition.
The off white enamel dial is in nice condition. Original gold hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and an outer minute track.
The watch will be sent in a new presentation box.
