The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1880s.
The beautifully patterned movement is fully signed and the serial number 3992048 dates it back to 1889. The movement has a patent Church 1885 regulator, jewelled pallets and safety pinion.

The watch is a little larger than a standard pocket watch at 58mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is marked as being silverode, an alloy created to look like silver. The case is in good condition.

The acrylic lens is in good condition.
The signed dial has a small patch of damage on the very edge but it is mostly covered by the bezel. There are a couple of short faint hairline cracks.
The watch will be sent in a new presentation box.
