The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1920s.
The watch has a stem-winding movement , grade 291, which is working well. The movement is signed with the Elgin name and the serial number 28127854 dates it back to 1925.

The watch measures 50mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is gold filled and was originally warranted for 20 years. It has a screw-on bezel and back, another good sign of quality. The case has light surface marking from use but overall it is in nice condition for a 1920s piece.

The acrylic lens is in nice condition.
The watch has its original blued steel hands.
The watch will be sent in a new presentation box.
