Georgian period oak chest of drawers. The chest is of finely figured oak with wonderful ogee curved feet. The chest retains a good original patina and colour. The handles are later and it has had knobs at some point, though the holes have been well repaired and are difficult to see. The drawers are all oak lined and slide easily. The chest is of a good usable size and stands very well. C.1780.
