Gents Omega wrist watch, 1969.

The watch has a hand-winding movement, calibre 613, which is working nicely. The movement is fully signed and the serial number 28,382,565 dates it back to 1969.

The watch measures 34mm wide excluding the winding crown and 34mm high excluding the lugs. The case is stainless steel and it is in good condition with just a few scratches around the edge of the case back, probably from where a tool has slipped in the past.

The case back is signed on the inside with the Omega logo and the case reference 136.041 which is correct for the calibre 613 movement. The outside of the case back states that the watch is waterproof but it should be kept away from water and moisture.

The winding crown has the Omega logo.

The lens is in good condition.

The signed dial is in its original finish with original hands, seconds sweep and quickset date. There is some marking to some of the numbers on the date wheel.

A new leather strap has been fitted but with an earlier buckle with the Omega logo.

The watch will be sent in a new presentation box.

With regards to appraisals / valuations, we receive a huge number of information requests each day and unfortunately do not have the manpower to deal with them all individually. Our advice would be to contact a local auctioneer for a full appraisal.
