Antique silver Waltham pocket watch and albert.

The watch has a key-wound movement which is working nicely. The movement is fully signed and the serial number 8455936 dates it back to 1898. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover.

The watch measures 54mm diameter excluding the stem and the loop. The case is silver and there are hallmarks inside the two case backs for Birmingham 1899 with a maker's mark for Alfred Bedford, the manager of Waltham UK. The case is in good condition, just a couple of pin prick “dings” to the back.

The glass lens has light marks but is very acceptable.

The dial is in good condition.

The watch comes with a Victorian single silver chain, 33cm long including the T-bar and the clasp. Each of the graduated links on the chain has the lion silver mark. The T-bar is hallmarked for 1897. The chain weighs 38g.

The watch and chain will be sent in a new presentation box.
