Description

Gents MuDu Doublematic wrist watch, c1960.

The watch has an automatic movement which is working nicely.

The watch measures 34mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the lugs. The case is gold plated and the stainless steel case back is signed with the MuDu name. There is some scratching to the case back, probably from where someone has attempted to remove it in the past.

The lens is in good condition.

The signed dial is in lovely original condition with dauphine shaped hands, seconds sweep and date display (an early form of quickset date where the hands are turned backwards and forwards between 12 midnight and 9pm until the desired date is reached).

A new leather strap has been fitted.

The watch will be sent in a new presentation box.
