Description

Antique silver Lancashire Watch Company pocket watch.

The watch has a signed (Lancashire Watch Company) key-wound movement which is working well. The movement is numbered 30300. A winding key is included. The movement is protected by an inner fitted cover.

The watch measures 54.8mm diameter excluding the stem and the loop. The case is silver and there are hallmarks inside both of the case backs for Chester 1893 with a case maker's mark for Thomas Peter Hewitt of the Lancashire Watch Company The case is also stamped L.W.Co. ( Lancashire Watch Company) The case has light surface marking from use but overall it is in nice condition for an 1890s piece.

The glass lens is in nice condition.

The dial has a couple of very faint hairline cracks and an old repair at 12 o'clock.

The watch has blued steel hands.

The watch will be sent in a new presentation box.
