The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1930s.
The watch has a stem-winding movement, calibre 18.220 identified as by Orator, which is working nicely.
The watch measures 46mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is 800 silver and there are Continental hallmarks inside the case back.
There is a little unevenness to the case back but overall the condition is very acceptable for a 1930s piece.

The acrylic lens is in good condition.
The dial is signed Chronometre Cosmos. It has a textured harlequin patterned dial which is in lovely original condition.
The watch comes with a silver single albert which measures 25cm long.
The watch and chain will be sent in a new presentation box.
