The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1950s.
The movement is signed with the Marvin name and logo.

The watch itself measures 31mm wide excluding the winding crown and 31mm high excluding the lugs so it would suit a slimmer wrist. The case is 9 carat gold and there are hallmarks inside the case back for Birmingham 1959. The case is in good condition, just some scratching to one side of the case. The back of the watch has an 1961 engraving for long service from Wood Green Borough Council.

The lens is in good condition.
The signed dial is in good condition and has dauphine shaped hands, a centre seconds hand with red pointer ends and outer minute markers.
