1921 Waltham Pocket Watch and Chain

1921 Waltham pocket watch and chain.

The watch has a stem-winding movement, grade 610, which is working well. The movement is fully signed and the serial number 24044852 which dates it back to 1921. The movement is protected by an inner movement cover.

The watch measures 50mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the crown. The case is gold plated and is the Star model made by the Dennison Watch Case Company. Dennisons made the majority of cases for Waltham UK. The case has light surface marking from use and a couple of mild bruises to the back but overall it is in nice condition for a 1920s piece.

The watch glass is in nice condition.

The signed dial has a very faint hairline crack between the sub seconds dial and 1 o'clock but otherwise it is in nice condition. Original blued steel hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and outer minute track.

The watch comes with a single chain, 39cm long.and a swivel fob.

The watch and chain will be sent in a new presentation box.
