1920s silver Polhem pocket watch from Richard Vogt.

The watch has a good quality Swiss stem-winding movement which is working nicely. The movement is signed with the name Polhem. The brand name Polhem was registered on at least three occasions by different companies, twice in Sweden and once in Switzerland, but this particular movement ties up to Richard Vogt of Biel in Switzerland who registered the mark in 1928. The movement is protected by an inner cover.

The watch has a nicely jewelled signed stem-winding movement which is working well. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover.

The watch itself measures 51mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is silver and has continental .800 silver marks. There is a rose gold wash around the bezel and the edge of the case back and engine turning to the back with a vacant cartouche to the centre. The case is in nice condition with only minor marking from use , the engine turned detail is still nice and crisp.

The glass lens is in good condition.

The signed white enamel dial has handsome Breguet style hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and an outer minute track. The dial is in nice condition.
