Gents 1923 Silver Terminus Wrist Watch

Gents 1923 silver Terminus wrist watch.

The watch has a Swiss hand-winding movement which is working nicely. The movement is signed with the name Terminus, a brand name registered by Georges Favre-Jacot of Zenith in 1894.

The watch measures 32mm wide excluding the winding crown and 32mm high excluding the fixed wire lugs. The case is silver and there are hallmarks inside the case back for Birmingham 1923, together with a case maker's mark for Aaron Dennson. The Dennison Watch Case Company was a British company who supplied cases for various watch makers including Rolex, Omega, Longines, IWC and Zenith.

The front of the case is in good condition, just minor marking. There is an old repair where one of the wire lugs has been re-soldered at one end, giving a good strong lug. There is some unevenness to the case back.

The lens is in lovely condition, as is the dial.

A new leather strap has been fitted.
