Vintage 1920s Elgin pocket watch.
The watch has a stem-winding movement, grade 479, which is working nicely. The movement is nice quality with 17 jewels and a Moseley regulator. It is signed with the Elgin name and the serial number 28410784 dates it back to 1925.
The watch measures 43.6mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is 14ct gold filled and is signed Elgin streamline. The case has light surface marking from use, but overall it is in good condition for a piece from the 1920s.
The acrylic lens is in nice condition.
The signed dial is in its original finish and has light surface marking although hardly noticeable to the naked eye.
The watch has its original blued steel hands.
The watch will be sent in a new presentation box.
