Antique 1925 silver Record pocket watch and chain.

The watch has a good quality signed 15-jewel Swiss stem-winding movement which is working well. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover.

The watch itself measures 50mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is silver and there are hallmarks inside the two hinged case backs for Birmingham 1925 with a case maker’s mark for Aaron Dennison, the Dennison Watch Company supplied cases for many watch manufacturers. The case is in good condition, just the odd minor mark, and the engine turned detail to the case back is still nice and crisp.

The lens is in good condition.

The signed white enamel has blued steel hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and an outer minute track.

The watch comes with a single silver chain, 35cm long including the T-bar and the clasp. There is also a fob which has been formed from an 1893 5 cent coin.

The watch and chain will be sent in a new presentation box.

With regards to appraisals / valuations, we receive a huge number of information requests each day and unfortunately do not have the manpower to deal with them all individually. Our advice would be to contact a local auctioneer for a full appraisal.
